The government wants YOUR pension savings to be invested in building Sizewell C. Because we have a say on how our money is used, that means we could control the flow of cash to Sizewell – and stop it from being built.
Some pension funds and investors, including Legal & General, Aviva, NatWest, Nest, BT, BBC and Tesco have said they're not interested in bankrolling Sizewell C. They understand this nuclear power station - on the Suffolk Coast and right next door to the RSPB Minsmere nature reserve - is controversial, risky and expensive.
However the Universities Superannuation Scheme has been named as a fund that COULD be interested in Sizewell C. Email USS today, and ask them NOT to invest in Sizewell C.
